There are two types of soft token authenticators available for use on Identity as a Service—an Entrust Identity authenticator and a Google authenticator.
An Entrust Identity (formerly called Entrust ST) is a soft token app provided by Entrust for authentication. When assigned to you, IDaaS requires that you provide a specific challenge response generated by the Entrust Identity app. If you are using a mobile device with an Internet connection, you can also use an enhanced feature called Push Notification. Push Notification automatically prompts you to authenticate on your mobile device when you authenticate.
A Google Authenticator is an application that implements two-step verification services for authenticating to applications.
