A Magic Link is a passwordless authentication method that you can use for the following:
Authentication
Password Reset
Registration
Magic Links are for one-time use only and have a limited lifetime. Magic Links are a single-use URL that is sent to you by email and include a link that you must click to perform the action described in the email.
The following topics explains how to use them.
Log in to your IDaaS account with your User ID and click Next.
Click Alternative Authentication.
Click Magic Link.
Go to your email account and open the email sent to you that tells you to Complete Login.
Click the link provided in the email. You are returned to IDaaS with a message "Authentication Successful. Close the tab to continue."
Confirm or Cancel the authentication request.
Close the browser tab. You are logged into your application protected by IDaaS.
Go to your email account and open the email sent to you that tells you to Reset Password.
Click the link provided in the email. You are redirected to the Reset Password page.
Enter and confirm your new password.
Click Save.
Go to your email account and open the email sent to you that tells you to Complete Registration.
Click the link provided in the email. The Welcome page appears prompting you to register an authenticator.
