Manage your profile information

The Profile page contains information that has been populated by your administrator. You can edit the following information in your profile:

       Language Preference

Language preference sets the language of the descriptive text that appears on the user portal of your Identity as a Service account and the language of emails sent to you by Identity as a Service.

       Your email address

       Your mobile number for SMS

       Your Phone number for voice

       Your authenticator preference

       Your alternate delivery one-time password (OTP) delivery contacts

Edit your profile information

1.      Go to > My Profile. The My Profile page appears.

2.      If your administrator requires that you authenticate before you can make changes, an Edit Profile toggle button appears. You must then do the following:

a.       Enable the Edit Profile button. An Edit Profile dialog box appears.

b.      Respond to the authentication challenge and then click Verify.

3.      Click the Profile tab. Your profile information appears.

4.      Under Personal Information, do the following, as required:

a.      Click beside the contact information you want to change. The Value dialog box appears.

b.      Enter the new value and then click Verify.

c.      Enter the OTP sent to you.

d.      Click OK.

5.      If your administrator has enabled the feature, under Authenticator Preference, do the following:

a.      Select Override Authenticator Preference.

b.      In the Second Factor Drag and drop is order of preference field, drag and drop to select the preferred order of authenticators presented to you when you log in.

Note: The order you choose may not always apply if the application you are trying to access does not allow authentication using your preferred second-factor authenticator.

6.      Under OTP Delivery Preferences, do the following, as required:

a.      To update a Delivery Contact, click the contact field, for example, Alternate Email. The Value dialog box appears.

b.      Enter the new value and then click Verify.

c.      Enter the OTP sent to you by the delivery method you chose.

d.      Click OK.

7.      Add another Delivery Contact, as required. For example, you have a temporary international travel mobile phone and want to use it to authenticate while you are out of the country.

a.      Click Add. The Value dialog box appears.

b.      Enter a Name for the Delivery Contact. For example, Travel Phone.

c.      Enter the Value. For example, the phone number for the travel phone.

d.      Select the Delivery Type.

e.      Click Verify.

f.        Enter the OTP sent to you.

g.      Click OK.

8.      To use WhatsApp for OTP delivery, complete the following:

a.      Under Delivery Contacts, click next to the WhatsApp attribute.

b.      Enter the Value (phone number) that is used by your WhatsApp account.

c.      Select the Delivery Type.

d.      Click Verify.

e.      Enter the OTP sent to you.

f.        Click OK.

9.      To use WeChat for OTP delivery, complete the following:

a.      Under Delivery Contacts, click next to the WeChat attribute. A Register your WeChat by scanning the QR code dialog box appears.

b.      Open the WeChat app on your mobile device, and select Scan from the menu.

c.      Scan the QR code. If successfully, a message appears to return to IDaaS.

d.      Return to the dialog box that displays the QR code, and click Verify. A dialog appears prompting you to Enter the one-time password that was just sent to you.

e.      Return to your WeChat app to obtain the OTP.

f.        Enter the OTP in the Enter the one-time password that was just sent to you in IDaaS, and then click Verify.

g.      If successful, an OpenID value appears below your WeChat delivery contact.

10.  Select the OTP Delivery Preferences. By default, IDaaS uses the system defaults. You can do the following:

a.      Select the Preferred OTP Delivery option.

Note: Your system administrator can override this selection.

b.      If you have alternate options available to you that were created by your system administrator, select it from the drop-down list to set it as the preferred OTP delivery contact.

For example, the Email contact listed in your personal information is the System Default Email. If you have an Alternate Email, you can select it from the Preferred OTP Email drop-down list to set it as your preferred OTP delivery contact.

Note: If you added your own alternate delivery contact, it does not appear in the drop-down list. Only alternate contacts created by your administrator can be set as a preferred delivery option. However, alternate contacts that you create, such as the temporary travel phone contact used in the examples above, are still available to you to select as an alternate OTP delivery method on the Identity as a Service the log in screen. 11.  Click Save to save your changes.
