Log in to OIDC and OAuth applications

This procedure describes how to log in to an application configured for OIDC and OAuth authentication after you log in to your Identity as a Service account.

Note: Once you have logged in to the OIDC and OAuth application, you can configure the logout URL on the application account so that you are also logged out of your IDaaS account. For example, you can make this change in your Salesforce account.

Log in to OIDC application from Identity as a Service

Log in to Identity as a Service.

Go to  > My Profile. The My Profile page appears.

Click the Applications tab. The list of available applications appears.

Click the  icon of the OIDC and OAuth application you want to access. A dialog box appears prompting you for permission to access the resources.

Click Allow.

If you provided the level of authentication necessary to use the application when you logged in to Identity as a Service, you can now access your application account.

Identity as a Service presents an authentication challenge if you need to pass an additional security challenge before you can log in. A new page appears prompting you to complete a an additional authentication challenge.

If prompted, complete the password authentication challenge.

Enter your password.

Click Next.

Note: If you forgot your password or do not have one, you can Reset your password .

If you are not prompted to enter a password, complete the authentication challenge. (See Using authenticators if you need help).

Optional: Select a different type of authentication challenge from the Alternative Authentication list.

Click Alternative Authentication. A new page appears with a list of alternative authentication challenges.

Select the authentication challenge that you want to complete.

Respond to the authentication challenge.

Tip: You can select Resend OTP using Voice, Resend OTP using SMS, Resend OTP using Email if you want to send another OTP to your phone, mobile device, or e-mail address.

Click Login.
