Upgrade trial accounts

If your Service Provider account is a Production account, you can upgrade Trial or Unknown tenant accounts to production accounts. See About account entitlements and Add Tenant accounts for more information on Trial and Production accounts.

Trial accounts that expire are automatically locked and can no longer be accessed by tenants. Identity as a Service processes daily scans of Trial accounts and performs the following actions:

       Removes Trial accounts that have expired and have been locked more than 180 days. No recovery is possible when this happens.

       Sends an email with the accounts removed or that will be removed shortly. Notifications are sent 14 days before removal and 7 days before removal. This requires that the Service Provider account has notifications enabled (see Manage notifications).

Upgrade a trial account

1.      Click > Service Provider > Tenants. The Tenants List page appears.

2.      Click next to the account you want to modify. The Entitlements Details page appears.

3.      Select Production from the Contract Mode drop-down list.

4.      Click Save.
