Get started with Entrust Identity as a Service

Identity as a Service is available in different bundles. The bundle type along with your user role determines the IDaaS features available to you. This Administration Guide describes all features. Some of these features may not be visible to you.

There are two types of users:

       Administrators

       End users

Identity as a Service supported languages

The Admin Portal and Service Provider are available in English only. The User Portal is available in the following languages:

       Chinese simplified (zh-cn)

       Chinese traditional (zh-tw)

       Danish (da)

       Dutch (nl)

       English (en)

       German (de)

       Spanish Spain (es)

       French Canadian (fr)

       Italian (it)

       Japanese (ja)

       Korean (ko)

Accessing your Identity as a Service features

When you log in, the following occurs, depending on your role:

       Administrators are logged in to the Dashboard page or Users List page, depending on their administrative role. Administrators have access to all Identity as a Service menu items.

       Users are logged in to the My Profile page and only have access to the My Profile and My Activity menus.

Identity as a Service menus

To see your menu options, click the menu button (sometimes called a "Hamburger") in the top-left of the title bar. The following is a list of the Identity as a Service menus. See Using the Administrator Help for a description of the tasks that you can perform and where to find the online help information.

The help has been organized by tasks rather IDaaS menu items.

Session lifetime

Once you log in, your session expires after a period of inactivity and you are automatically logged out of Identity as a Service. The default session lifetime is 15 minutes. A warning appears before your session times out. If you see a Warning prompt, click Continue to avoid being logged out of your account. Administrators can change the default time out session. See Manage General settings.

Note: There is no session time limit when logging in to a RADIUS application.

Logging out

You are logged out of Identity as a Service when one of the following occurs:

       Your session lifetime expires

       You explicitly log out

       Your web browser session ends (typically when you close the browser)

Note: On MacOS, you must Quit the browser to terminate the session.
