Ask your administrator about which activation procedures to use. Example activation methods are described in "Activate a smart card identity" in the app help.

Complete the steps for Windows passwordless computer login.

In the Entrust Identity mobile app online help, see Smart Cards > Windows passwordless computer login or click https://web.entrust.com/mobile/info/help/id-mobile/#t=WinPwdless.htm.

 Verify prerequisites.

Create a Bluetooth pairing of their mobile device and their computer (Windows).

(Optional) Configure Auto Connect.

Optional: Enable biometric authentication for computer login.

If you have configured biometric authentication for smart login, you can use either face recognition or fingerprint recognition instead of your smart credential PIN to log in to their Windows computers. In addition to administrative configuration of the feature (supported with Bluetooth Reader 3.0.3 or newer), you must enable your choice of biometric authentication in the app. Procedures are described in the Usage basics in the app help.
