How to create a PDF version of a guide

The integration guides have been created as standalone guides. Each guide is documented on a single help page with drop-down links for each specific step of the integration. This format makes it is easy for you to create a PDF version of an integration guide that you can print in its entirety.

Print a PDF version of an integration guide

1.      In the Help table of contents, go to the integration guide you want to print.

2.      Click each heading link to expand the content. Links are shown in purple text usually with a next to them.

Attention: Be sure to expand each topic so that all the instructions are visible. Note that hypertext links, shown in purple text, will not work in the PDF guides.

3.      After you have expanded all the links, click the printer icon in the Technical Integration Guides Help banner. The Print dialog appears.

4.      In the Print dialog, select Adobe PDF as the Destination. This should be the default setting.

5.      Select to Print All Pages.

6.      Click More Settings.

7.      Under Options, select Headers and Footers. You want to do this step to add page numbers to your PDF document.

8.      Click Print.

9.      Browse to the location where you want to save your PDF document.

10.  Give your document a name.

11.  Click Save.

12.  If you want a hardcopy of the guide, open the PDF file you just created and send it to a printer for hardcopy printing.

Note: Some of the guides also include links to PDF files. For example, the Identity as a Service Desktop for Windows integration has links to other documents. In that case, you will have to click the links to the specific guides and download them separately.
