When all the prerequisites are met, install the Entrust Device Agent for Mac.
Users must have administration privileges to install the Entrust Device Agent on their computers.
To install the Bluetooth Smart Credential Reader on your Mac computer
1. If a smart card reader is connected to the Mac, disconnect it before beginning the installation process.
2. Uninstall the product if an older version is installed.
3. Obtain the Device Agent package (device-agent-macos-*.pkg) from Entrust TrustedCare.
4. Copy the .pkg file to the computer on which the user will log in with their smart credential (Smart Identity).
5. Double-click device-agent-macos-*.pkg to start the installer.
6. Click Install.
7. When prompted, enter the computer administrator credentials. The software is installed.
8. When installation is complete, restart the Mac.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions to update settings. Administrator credentials are required.
